The most important thing a coach can give a player would be "good technique". Every player should work hard and strive to get their own good technique.

Many styles of delivery are evident. Even some of the top champions have a technique that most coaching manuals would disapprove of. This does demonstrate that it is possible to play very well with your own style. However, it is much more likely to succeed with a technique that is sound in principle and biomechanically efficent.

With a simple repeatable style you will play well and be consistent. A poor style requires much more practice hours to keep it working and feeilg right.
These 9 important technique principles should be evident in every bowler.
